Drake is adding another piece to his Rapper/Mogul toolkit by adding a liquor band to his portfolio. Unlike his rap counterparts, who tend to gravitate toward Vodka, Tequila, and Cognac, Aubrey has elected to do Whiskey.  The brand is called Virginia Black and is a venture in partnership with acclaimed spirits producer Brent Hocking. Does the name sound familiar? you may have heard him name-drop it in a few songs:

“Virginia Black, I could go make enough money off that and not even rap”

Also unlike his rap counterparts, Drake is giving his fans the opportunity to get in on the action. He and his business partner Brent have announced that they will be going public and accepting investments from those who wish to join them in their “vision to redefine whiskey.”
